Unsanitary and unsafe even for experienced backpackers on a budget.
- What did you like most?The location was somewhat close to Universal but there were much better options at the same price point that were closer.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The room was the dirtiest I’ve seen and I’ve stayed in hostels and budget hotels dozen of times before. The bedding and sheets were stained, there was a dirty footprint on the floor from the last guest, an old towel under the nightstand, and broken glass in the bathroom picture frame. We didn’t feel comfortable staying there even for one night (we booked 6). So we sent photos to the property to explain why we would not be staying there and requested a full refund and had to find new accommodations on the spot. The property ignored our request and booking.com has been unable to reach them for a refund. Luckily we found an amazing hotel nearby that fit our budget. Cheap doesn’t mean the room can be dirty or unsanitary. Not worth the savings at all. We definitely want our money back because this was not what we expected and was certainly not as advertised.
